Our founder, Cary, started ANIC in 2001, after 15 years of experience in the utility and infrastructure industries. That's the company's own telling — and it explains the shape of everything since: a business built by someone who had spent a decade and a half around buried plant before putting his own trucks over it. Since 2001, ANIC has been active in this industry, constantly innovating and training to offer the most efficient techniques and work methods. Over those years the company evolved to be an exclusive hydro vac company — a deliberate narrowing that most competitors never make. One method, mastered, with training procedures developed in-house to limit environmental impact while maintaining a safe workplace.

ANIC services the Ministry of Transportation, the GTAA, the Government of Canada and municipalities across Ontario. For a buyer, that list is the credential: public-sector procurement is the hardest trust bar in excavation, and ANIC has cleared it for a quarter century.
